That wasn't full of himself, mezee is right about reppin where you come from. That's where they come from and it was gnar back then. No skatepark, barely any shops, skateboarding wasn't popular like it is now. I hope the young guys know that's where the Stockton scene comes from, rep your city, spots, and skaters cause they're a part of you!

kenny said it beautifully. i wasn't dissing anyone.my intent was to shed some light on you young guys and girls to get out there and skate across town(don't drive) and experience your city. love your city. it's yours. it was hard back then but what we did was unified and started a posse. we didn't give a shit about being sponsored or getting a video done,we just skated because it was fun. FUN!!!!! is the main part of this whole scene. my skate days now are few and far between but i still have so much love for skating and the scene. so don't tell me that i am full of myself because i'm just speaking the truth that i have seen. talk to some other older guys that were mentioned and they will say the same. we repped our spots and our city because thats what the older guys told us to do. just skate and have fun.-mezee.
it was so much better then than now idiot simply because the skateboarders in stockton atleast were better skaters back then i watched both generations of skaters and the people that were killin it 10 yrs ago (al bone, def rob, nick j, vince most of them almost 30 some almost 40 would shit still on the people from the scene now so to say mezees full of himself must not be from stockton cause you dont even deserve to breathe the same air as the people that showed me what skateboarding was about ten years ago..... mike v
